With autumn almost upon us it is time for our latest newsletter to keep you updated with all the news at Therapeutics.

Physio

We have launched a new Physio express service. This is a 15 minute assessment and advice only session with a chartered physiotherapist who will give you a diagnosis and be able to direct you to the appropriate treatment whilst giving advice and exercise management. This is suitable for any injury less than 6 weeks old.

Pilates

We have recently started 2 new beginners pilates classes on a Monday evening. They proved extremely popular and are now full. We are planning to start another beginners class on a Saturday morning 11.30am – 12.30pm with Laura. If you think you would be interested in joining the class and would like more information or would like to book an induction call the reception team on 02380 653707.

Massage

Due to her commitments at Winchester University Kate Scott will no longer be offering massage appointments on a Thursday. Her final Thursday will be 17th November. She will continue to offer appointments on a Tuesday from 1pm – 8pm. We are pleased to welcome back Steve Watkins a very experienced massage therapist who will be offering appointments on a Thursday afternoon between 4pm -8pm, appointments are available from 24th November.

London Marathon 2012

Congratulations to all our patients that found out this month that they have got in to the London marathon, now the fun really begins…..with training for an event such as a marathon it is really important to look after your self with all the increased pressure you put on your body. Here at Therapeutics we have a whole team who can help get you through the next few months of pounding the roads. Whether it is physiotherapy advice for injuries, regular sports massage to keep your muscles working and loosened, gait analysis, personal training advice or even advice on appropriate footwear – we are here to help and make sure that you get through your training with the support you need.
