With summer well under way (I think we might have even spotted the sun occasionally), Wimbledon has started maybe inspiring us all to head for the tennis courts it is time for our next newsletter, keeping you up to date with all the goings on here in the clinic.
Staff News
Physio Rob Edmondson is now back in the clinic full time after a couple of months working with the Hamsphire cricketers at the Ageas Bowl. Both staff and patients were very glad to see him back.
Our physio Zoe Barrett will be going on maternity leave from 26th July. Her pilates class on a Thursday evening will be covered in her absence by Hazel Mellers.
Lordshill 10km
This Sunday 30th June is the Lordshill 10km. Good luck to all those taking part. Don’t forget that Therapeutics will be providing the post race massage. There will also be a discount voucher for sports massage here at Therapeutics in the goody bag after the run, so make sure you look out for it.
Different Strokes – Charity Event
Therapeutics were very proud to host a charity event on Saturday 25th May for a local charity that provides support to young stroke survivors in the area. Stroke survivors and staff from Therapeutics climbed stairs to the equivalent height of Ben Nevis. We had a cake sale at the same time. It was great fun and a real challenge for some, but we completed the challenge and raised lots of money in the process for this fantastic charity.
If you would like to contact Different Strokes Southampton call Ranj Parmar on 07860 574863.
Pilates
There are still a couple of spaces remaining in the new beginners Pilates class on a Wednesday evening 7.30pm – 8.30pm. Please contact reception on 02380 653707 for more details.
And finally….
Remember that Therapeutics offers appointments from 8am – 8pm on weekdays, we also run a Saturday morning clinic from 8.30am – 12.30pm. We have tried to give as much flexibility as possible for those that cannot come within normal working hours.
