Newsletter – August 2011
With summer well under way it is time for our August newsletter. Despite it being holiday season the clinic has remained busy with lots of new patients and most of them coming from personal recommendations from existing patients which is fantastic.
Zoe Barrett returns from maternity leave on 13th September 2011. She will be available for appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The new Saturday morning clinic is proving popular. Physiotherapy appointments are available from 8.30am – 12.30pm with Laura Panaech. We hope this offers greater flexibility for those patients that struggle to get here during the working week.
We are pleased to welcome a new massage therapist to the Therapeutics team. Sally Morris starts on 19th September and will be offering appointments on a Monday.
Jane Shields new beginners piliates class on a Monday evening has proved very popular and is now completely full. Due to demand we are considering a second beginners class on a Monday evening from September. If you would be interested in putting your name on the waiting list give reception a call on 02380 653707.
Kim Lilley our biomechanist continues to form links with local running and footwear specialists. Following a gait analysis session with our state of the art equipment at Therapeutics you will be provided with a complete breakdown of your running/walking gait. Individual accurate advice can then be given on appropriate footwear for you. Wearing the correct footwear reduces the risk of injury when exercising. Have a look at the gait analysis section on the website to see if you could benefit from this service.
At Therapeutics we offer lots of other services as well as physiotherapy:
