With spring finally upon us it is time for our next newsletter. With the days getting longer and the weather getting warmer lots of us are thinking about getting fit and active in time for those summer holidays.
It is a big year for sport this year. The London Marathon is just a matter of weeks away. All that training over the dark winter days will soon pay off, by now the majority of your long training runs are done, why not treat your tired muscles to a sports massage to help loosen them up and get you in tip top condition for the big day.
If you are looking for something a bit less daunting than a marathon to get you active, why not sign up for the ‘Sport Relief Mile’ being held all over the country on Sunday 25th March 2012. Sport Relief is part of the comic relief charity and they help change peoples lives in the UK and abroad. Visit the website www.sportrelief.com/the-mile to find out how to join in, and it might be just the incentive to kick start getting fit.
Here at Therapeutics we have a gym, personal trainers and pilates classes that can help with your fitness requirements. Feel free to come and have a look around the gym at anytime during our opening hours.
Our team of experienced physiotherapists are here to help with any niggles or injuries. We offer appointments at all times of day from early mornings, evenings and Saturday mornings so that you can fit appointments in around busy lifestyles….and don’t forget if you just need a quick diagnosis and advice our Physio express appointments for injuries of less than 6 weeks old might be just what you need.
