Elizabeth Richards works in our neurology unit to provide a full time service. This specialist unit is involved in the treatment and management of conditions including; Strokes, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson, brain injury, spinal cord lesions and motor neurone disease. The aim of the unit is to maximise each individual’s potential and function and to reduce the effects of any neurological disability and in many cases return them to a normal daily life.

The unit has recently added the Biodex Unweighting device to enhance gait rehabilitation, weight-bearing function and mobility. It can also be used as an adjunct to the sports and orthopaedic rehabilitation.
