Therapeutics is very pleased to update you on the recent MSc project with Southampton University. 8 of our stoke patients took part in a trial using the Motortherapy Exercise equipment.
The students were looking at the effectiveness of using exercise to increase cardiovascular fitness and mobility in stroke patients. The students have completed the study and although we are unable to give the formal results until they are published, the patients all noted a significant improvement and 6 of the patients have continued to use the equipment regularly since the trial finished.

We are now looking forward to starting a similar MSc project with Parkinsons Disease patients.
