Rachael Wood

Rachael qualified as a chartered physiotherapist with BSc(hons) in 1999. She has worked extensively in London and Oxfordshire before moving to Southampton to join the Therapeutics team in 2008. As a member of the Manipulative Association of Chartered Physiotherapist holding a post graduate diploma in advancing practice, she has become a specialist in the management of musculoskeletal conditions. She also has a Masters degree in Rehabilitation, developing advanced skills all aspects of the rehabilitative process and undertaking primary research into the treatment of the unstable shoulder. Rachael has a keen interest in the management of all musculoskeletal conditions with a particular focus on spinal complaints and helping those with long term complex pain conditions.
